It is produced by using Metarhizium anisopliae, which is an entomopathogenic fungus that can control many insect pests Mode of Action: Upon application of itin the soil , the spores get the favorable condition to germinate and thereby the mycelium develops. When the insects come into contact with the fungus, it becomes infected by the mycelia and the fungal mycelia starts deriving nutrients from the body fluid of the insect which eventually perishes the insect

Mode of action: When the bio Meterrhizium spores of the fungus come into contact with the body of an insect host, they germinate, Penetrates the cuticle and grow inside, killing the insect within a matter of days, a white mould emerges from the cadaver and produces new spores inside the target pests.
Mode of Application
Amount of Bio Consortium required per acre will depend on the water use per acre as well as the degree of infestation due to the particular pests. The general recommendation is 200 liters of water.
It is left to stand for 24 hours for better activation and microbial growth. It is then used to apply as a foliar treatment over the crop Normally 2 rounds of treatment are sufficient. If the Economic Threshold Levels (ETL) is more than 5% then the third round will be required.

The products are designed to be used as a foliar spray. It is not designed to be added to the soil and as such may have no effect if used in that manner.
